Bremen Teater is a Danish theatre seating 648 people in central Copenhagen. It is used as a venue for everything from comedy shows and concerts to theatre and talks – since reopening in 2010 with the current ownership.
The theatre was originally called The Merkur Theatre (from 1956), and worked as a cinema for the prosperous citizens in Copenhagen. The theatre’s scenes and halls are kept in its old charm and patina.
