Felix Moseholm and Jacob Artved learned to play jazz together when they met as young teenagers in Copenhagen and immediately became close friends. Later, they each decided to move to NYC in hopes of integrating and learning about jazz on its American terms.

Since then, they have both been successful in their common goals. Among others, Jacob has played with Louis Hayes, Billy Hart and David Wong. Felix, on the other hand, has played with Brad Mehldau, Samara Joy and Wynton Marsalis.

Every year, CPH jazz has been the hub where the two young Danes returned home and tried to reintegrate all the new things they have learned over the time in NYC.

This year, in the same spirit, they have assembled a terrific new band, consisting of two young musicians who they believe are absolutely extraordinary.
