Norwegian Birgitte Soojin is today well established on the Danish jazz scene - and among the top vocalists.
Soojin is an excellent interpreter of jazz standards, which she cuts to the bone and adds her very personal twist. In 2016, together with guitar player Per Møllehøj, she released the album PerGitte - only vocal and guitar (on a few tracks with Thomas Vang on bass).
It is the team from PerGitte, plus Jonas Due and Jacob Høyer, who take to the stage this evening in Paradise Jazz, and it is the same minimalist vocal standard jazz that is on the program.
