The guitarist Per Gade has for many years been the anchorman in the many Hammond projects from the hands of Kjeld Lauritsen. Per is one of the most coveted Danish guitarists and is, among other things, guitarist in Radioen's Big Band. He covers a wide spectrum from swing music to blues and modern jazz. As a soloist he is particularly distinctive, but at the same time he is a tasteful accompanist who always gets the best out of his fellow players. For many years, Kjeld Lauritsen had the band "The Organizers" together with the American saxophonist Bob Rockwell. Since then he has released 6 records under his own name in addition to a few pieces as a soloist with Big Bands and 2 in collaboration with the Icelandic saxophonist Sigurdur Flosason.
Drummer Espen Laub von Lillienskjold guarantees that the music always swings. He started drum lessons at the age of 6 and was already a substitute in his father's big band as a child. Later he became the youngest ever drummer in the Aarhus Jazz Orchestra. After moving to Copenhagen, his career has not stood still, he participates in countless recordings, and he is, among other things, one of the permanent musicians at the jazz venue La Fontaine and he also plays with Christina Dahl and many others. On this occasion, the trio presents numbers from Per and Kjeld's hand, and there are probably also a few jazz/blues/soul standards in the mix....
