Jim Snidero Quartet

Grammy-winning American saxophonist Jim Snidero has distinguished himself since the early 80s as one of the more prominent saxophonists of recent times, including as saxophonist for Sting and Frank Sinatra.
He is often compared to sax legends of his time such as Kenny Garrett, Chris Potter and Steve Coleman.
On a solid foundation from the greatest saxophonists of post-bop, he builds a musical universe with a rich and nuanced sound. As a young man, he traveled to New York and took to the stage with "The Mingus Big Band", where he really cemented himself as a serious and uncompromising musician.
Since then, his career has taken off, and he quickly began collaborations with prominent figures such as Eddie Palmieri, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Toshiko Akiyoshi, Frank Wess, Sting and Frank Sinatra. With Brian Lynch, he won a Grammy in 2019 for the album "The Omni-American Book Club".
He can be experienced for just one evening at Montmartre ...
