Drummer and jazz composer Magnus Öström has cemented himself as one of Europe's best over a decade-long career. In addition to numerous concerts as a sideman for giants, he is particularly known for his revolutionary participation in the Esbjörn Svensson Trio (E.S.T.) until the frontman passed away in 2004.

With great technical prowess, he plays measuredly through the compositions' spherical soundscapes, which mix electronic effects with Nordic jazz and folk.

"A Room For Travellers" is the group's fourth album, which is both about the traveler's journey through the world, but equally about a journey inward. The album is also about the great importance of water and the sea to us and about being aware of what we can lose.

In Magnus' own words, he hopes that the music can function as a break from everything that is happening in the world these years. But equally as much a journey inward.
