Danish born vocalist Mette Nadja Hansen is an international superstar that moves freely within the idioms of jazz. Since migrating to Berlin she has incorporated the swinging time feel of Ella Fitzgerald, the captivating harmonies and rhythms from Brazil, with a European sense of musical freedom and melancholy into a melting pot that is uniquely her own. The music presented this evening will span from the 1930s swing era into modern times with a couple of original tunes if we are lucky enough. The band consist of some of Scandinavias brightest stars on there respective instruments turning this evening into the musical highlight of this years Copenhagen Winter Jazz and a long awaited homecoming for miss Hansen.
