Udsyn is the meeting point between Nordic jazz, American minimalism, film music, and post-rock.
The band creates organic atmospheres you can feel and vividly imagine. In a dynamic tension field of harmony, intimacy, and dissonance, Udsyn conveys perspectives on life through musical spaces and worlds you can lose yourself in, explore, and perhaps find meaning in.
Udsyn released their debut album Indsigt/Udsigt in 2024 on the indie label Blikflak, and in the same year the band took part in the Jazz Competition with concerts praised by both audiences and critics.
2025 has brought performances at, among others, the SPOT Festival, Jazzhus Montmartre, and CPH Jazz Festival, as well as two new single releases. Udsyn is now working on their next album, from which they will present new music at Templet during Winterjazz 2026.
