Leth's Jazz featuring Lygtevenner

Lygtevenner is an young jazzquartet based in Aarhus, consisting of Holger Crone (gt), Mads Thordahl Fisker (b), Laurids Hollensberg (as) and Noah Harlis (tr). The quartets collaboration is based on their mutual friendship and their passion for the Nordic and American jazz tradition.

They play self-written, down-to-earth compositions that, with their high ceilings, contain both coldness, warmth, longing and security. The compositions are simple and based on beautiful melodies - with a sound universe built on central sources of inspiration such as Jakob Bro, Bill Frisell and Paul Motian.

Through their music, they want to create an intimate space that invites the audience on a quest to get closer to the music and each other.
