Lunch jazz at Café Støj- Smørrebrød ad libitum & live jazz

Lunch jazz at Café Støj is a relaxed afternoon with live jazz and classic Danish lunch. We serve smørrebrød (classic danish open sandwicjes) ad lib, while atmospheric music is played in the café's cozy setting.

You can look forward to hearing a fantastic young band with lots of energy, joy of playing and swinging rhythms. The band was put together by pianist Oscar Balund, and consists of Carl Emil Olsen on double bass, Carsten Verdoner on drums and Albert Schwalpe on saxophone.

Despite the members' young age, they have already built up a lot of experience with both European tours and countless jazz concerts all over Denmark.

Musically, you can look forward to a mix of Oscar Balund's original jazz compositions, the band's favorite jazz standards - and a little touch of the Danish song treasure.
