Celebrating the album release of Tender Anger - the second album from Copenhagen based string duo Lueenas.
Following the trajectory from their self-titled debut album, they continue to explore and develop unexplored timbral territories of the string instruments.
For two nights celebrating the album release, the duo has expanded the instrumentation to include death metal singer Rikke List (Konvent), classical singer Katinka Fogh Vindelev, Jakob Høyer on drums and Nils Gröndahl on violins.
Together the sextet will move slowly and confidently through the detailed and fine emotionality of the string instruments as well as the raw and violent expression of slow improvised rock music. Wall of Sound that coexists with soft atmospheres of lush strings.

Lueenas is a Copenhagen based experimental string duo. With violin, double bass, effects and amplifiers they create violent and beautiful soundscapes of panoramic grandeur. Their cinematic aesthetic has roots in both classical minimalism and improvisational rock and jazz music.
They released their critically acclaimed debut album, Lueenas, in late 2022 and have been an active part of the Copenhagen experimental-, rock- and jazz scene since 2019.
As a composer-duo, they have, beside their own releases, written for film, galleries and television where they have collaborated with The National Museum, The National Danish Radio, Nordisk Film, Martin De Thurah and more....
