The Danish guitarist Jakob Bro is touring Scandinavia with a truly special and groundbreaking group of musicians. From Japan, the two young musicians Fumi Endo and Kanon Aonami are joining him—artists whom Jakob Bro heard live in Tokyo and was immediately deeply moved by. They have a beautiful sound and can create an atmosphere with a single tone, like in a dream or a meditation.
They are joined by two fantastic musicians with many years of experience on New York’s jazz scene: saxophonist Chris Speed and double bassist Thomas Morgan. Also part of the ensemble is the innovative Danish electronic musician Mads Emil Nielsen, who adds depth and texture to the whole and opens connections across genres and traditions.
