Shatter Hands
Since his debut in 2011, Johan Klinkvort a.k.a. Shatter Hands has established himself as one of the major talents on the European future beat scene. With a background rooted in hip-hop DJ’ing and production, his earlier releases have consistently moved beyond conventional genre boundaries, exploring the borderland between samples, synthesizers, and field recordings.
With the project and release A Show Of Hands, he - together with a number of Danish, German, and Norwegian musicians - presents his take on a jazz release for 2024, built on the foundation of beats and bass-driven music.
The live constellation features rotating members, with Shatter Hands acting as the “flying goalkeeper.”
For this concert, the quartet will consist of Flavia Huarachi (flute), Albert von Bülow (bass), Viktoria Søndergaard (vibraphone), and Shatter Hands (sampler).
