In 2026 it will be 50 years since the legendary band BAZAAR was formed — and this will be marked with a major anniversary concert in true Bazaar spirit. On stage, original member Anders Koppel will be joined by, among others, Olga Bastian, Carl Quist Møller, and Benjamin Koppel.

Few ensembles have left as distinctive a mark on Danish music history as BAZAAR. The three friends and musical playmates — Peter Bastian, Flemming Quist Møller, and Anders Koppel — toured the country for 36 years and set new standards for how instrumental music can build bridges between genres, expressions, and people.

Peter Bastian and Flemming Quist Møller are, sadly, no longer with us, but with this concert the next generation pays tribute to a band that has been an immense source of inspiration for the entire Danish music scene. Anders Koppel’s legendary organ forms the natural focal point of the evening.

Anders and his son, Benjamin, have put together a unique program featuring music from BAZAAR’s vast universe. For the occasion, they have invited both Peter Bastian’s daughter, Olga, and Flemming Quist Møller’s son, Carl, to join them on stage, along with two of their longtime musical collaborators: oud virtuoso Bilal Irshed and star drummer Kristoffer Sonne....
