Orchestra Résident is Belma’s own house band, delivering top-tier concert experiences throughout Winterjazz together with carefully selected guest artists from the Copenhagen jazz scene.

On this evening, however, there are no guest artists. Instead, the house band performs a handpicked program featuring some of the greatest music from the history of jazz — essentially jazz history’s own “greatest hits” album. All of it is presented under the direction of award-winning composer and trombonist Tobias Stavngaard.
