Eliel Lazo Cuban percussionist, vocalist, and composer, known for his powerful blend of Afro-Cuban traditions, Latin jazz, and contemporary improvisation.

Winner of the PERCUBA International Percussion Prize, he has performed worldwide with artists such as Herbie Hancock, Chucho Valdés, and the Danish Radio Big Band. Based in Copenhagen, Lazo is recognized as one of the leading conga players of his generation. In this ocation Eliel Lazo brings together some of Scandinavia’s top jazz musicians with an electrifying mix of Afro-Cuban rhythms, modern jazz, and dynamic improvisation, prrfect for a vibrant and soulful concert experience.
