Sebastian Rochford is back at Gaarden & Gaden with the fantastic project “Finding Ways”, which is also the title of his latest album, released on Edition Records in 2025.
Joining him are two of the UK’s most distinctive guitar improvisers, as well as this year’s DMA Jazz recipient of the Musician of the Year award, Anders “AC” Christensen.
Finding Ways explores a raw guitar sound with little or no effects, anchored by the deep groove of Rochford and AC.

Tara Cunningham (g)
UK guitarist and composer with improvisation as a driving force. Deeply rooted in the experimental scene, she explores the guitar’s sonic possibilities—from raw and direct to detailed and textural. She leads her own projects and appears in a wide range of collaborations, bringing a clearly personal voice—among them the group Red Snapper and the post-rock band Modern Nature.
Matt Hurley (g)
London-based guitarist and composer, active in jazz, improvisation, and more composition-led formats. He leads several of his own projects/ensembles (including Matt Hurley Quartet and The Matt Hurley Group) and, alongside these, a newer “chamber” ensemble featuring longer-form compositions (a drummer-less setup), which has recorded a debut album planned for release in 2025. He also features on the Finding Ways recording.
Anders “AC” Christensen (b)
Danish bassist and a central figure in Danish jazz and rock for several decades. AC has played with a wide range of Danish and international artists, including Marilyn Mazur, The Raveonettes, Sort Sol, Joe Lovano, Jakob Bro, and many more, and is known for his solid musical foundation, authority, and an always-listening approach.
