Casper Hejlesen (g)
Danish guitarist and composer, widely seen as one of the strongest new voices on the Danish scene. Known for his technical command, allowing him to move freely between genres and styles—often within just a few motifs and short forms. A distinctive musician both as a bandleader and sideman, he has already released several critically acclaimed recordings, including Minimalism and the solo album Idyl, and most recently Langmod in collaboration with guitarist Carlo Dayyani.
Gustav Broman (b)
Swedish bassist and composer based in Stockholm. Educated at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and later the Dr. Langner Jazz Master in Hamburg. Active as both bandleader and sideman in contemporary jazz and impro projects, he has performed widely across Europe in settings ranging from small ensembles to major stages. He also appears on Hejlesen’s most recent release.
Jakob Høyer (dr)
Danish drummer with a long career across jazz and related genres. Known for his steady musical overview and strong time, and as a sought-after musician in many Danish projects, including collaborations connected to the Jakob Bro scene. He has also toured with The Raveonettes and Spain, and has contributed as drummer and producer on a wide range of Danish and international releases.
Ned Ferm (sax)
American multi-instrumentalist and composer, based in Copenhagen since 2001. A key presence in the Copenhagen music community for more than two decades as both performer and educator, he has appeared on a very large number of releases spanning jazz, rock, roots, and improvised music. He received the Bent Jædig Prize in 2021.
Mathias Petri (b)
Danish bassist/double bassist with an international educational background and a strong connection to the Copenhagen scene. Recognised for a solid foundation and an attentive, musical approach, he is active in a range of Danish projects, including OTOOTO....
