The internationally renowned Norwegian saxophonist Marius Neset is considered one of the most innovative and magnificent figures of his generation on the European jazz scene, and he is now coming to Montmartre with his quintet.
Marius Neset achieved his international breakthrough with the album *Golden Xplosion* (2011) and has since won numerous awards and grants. He is widely recognized for his extreme technical control, his rich tone, and his powerful, philharmonic-style compositions.
He has collaborated with symphony orchestras such as the London Sinfonietta and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as jazz icons like Lionel Loueke, Django Bates, and Anton Eger. The latter joins the group on drums at Montmartre, alongside English fusion musicians Conor Chaplin (bass) and Elliot Galvin (keys), as well as top Swedish pianist Magnus Hjort.
