This evening, audiences are invited to an intimate and exclusive jazz experience as Christina Birksø returns to the stage as part of this year’s Vinterjazz at NORDHUS.
Christina’s musical world draws inspiration from vocalists such as Monica Zetterlund, Nancy Wilson, Rickie Lee Jones, Barbra Streisand, Billie Holiday, Erykah Badu and Lisa Nilsson, each of whom has helped shape her warm and playful vocal style.
For this concert, Christina will be joined by the talented jazz pianist Mathias Grove on keys, alongside her regular bandmates Andreas Hatholt on double bass and Kristian Karottki on drums.
The repertoire ranges from beloved jazz classics to more recent original compositions.
