Experience an atmospheric concert where Brazilian musical traditions meet Nordic tones in an elegant and melodic jazz setting.

Brazilian Crosswinds takes the audience on a musical journey across oceans and continents. Rooted in Brazilian jazz, the ensemble brings together warm rhythms, Nordic harmonies, and acoustic interplay, creating a musical expression characterised by lightness, intimacy, and finesse.

The music moves between styles such as samba, choro, baião, and bossa nova. The repertoire features works by renowned Brazilian composers, including Tom Jobim, Hermeto Pascoal, and Moacir Santos, alongside the ensemble’s own compositions.

Brazilian Crosswinds invites you to a concert where musical traditions come together, allowing both improvisation and melody to unfold naturally. We look forward to welcoming you to BAR50 for an evening of Brazilian jazz with Nordic influences.
