Hvalfugl is an Aarhus-based trio creating music characterised by a vibrant sense of presence, ambient soundscapes and lyrical melodies. Since their debut in 2017, the trio has established itself as one of Denmark’s most distinctive instrumental groups, with a sound that moves freely between genres. Their latest release, the collected double LP Bag Vore Øjne Strømmer Drømme Sagte Forbi (2025), brings together three years of work and EP releases in a single body of work.
