With a common home in Copenhagen, the duo between Aurelijus Užameckis and Hein Westgaard play completely improvised concerts that range from the contemplative to the energetic, and from the melodious to the experimental.

Aurelijus Užameckis is a Lithuanian contrabass player and composer. He currently lives in Copenhagen and participates in both Danish and Lithuanian improvised, contemporary and jazz music scenes.

Aurelijus plays in ensembles such as lithuanian punk-jazz band Džiazlaif, ensemble The Young Immigrants, contemporary music ensemble Strangement Society and collaborates with musicians like Luka Zabric, Albert Cirerra, Lotte Anker, Alvaro Montenegro, Liudas Mockūnas, Kresten Osgood, Kenny Wollesen and others. He has a solo project with which, in 2021 he released a debut album Signals.

Aurelijus also runs label CRRNT Records that focuses on Danish and Lithuanian music.

Hein Westgaard is a guitarist, improviser and composer from Norway, but currently based in Copenhagen. He can be heard in the norwegian minimalistic band Ototoi, his own genre bending project Hein Westgaard Trio, in ad-hoc improvised constellations, or in the solo acoustic guitar format where he focuses on his own songs in the fingerpicking tradition....
