Doudouči Ensemble is an international band consisting of young creative musicians based in Copenhagen, led by Slovak saxophone player and composer Michaela Turcerová. The music of the ensemble is informed by contemporary music for percussion, minimalism and free jazz energy. It is also determined by relatively open scores, often circulating around cyclical and durational events with a trance-like meditative quality, focusing on collective sound. The result is a multilayered sonicscape representing a non-hierarchical partnership. DOUDOUČI released its first eponymous EP in November 2022 on CRRNT Records.
