Christian Bundgaard & Emil Otto Band feat. James Martin (US/DK)

Pumpehuset / Fringe Jazz Fest, København V

Free admission

Two of Denmark's young New Orleans inspired pianists and singers Christian Bundgaard and Emil Otto have merged into a joint musical project after a trip to The Big Easy in 2017. The two pianists share the joy of New Orleans music, but are very different in their expression. Emil Otto sings jazz a la Harry Connick Jr, whereas Christian Bundgaard gets his inspiration from blues and funk such as Dr. John and Allen Toussaint.

One stage is also the New Orleans star saxophonist James Martin, who is currently succeeding with his solo career and also has a concert on July 11 at 9pm in Pumpehuset.
