Danish singer and Icelandic saxophonist Sigurdur Flosason have worked extensively together for over a decade, mostly in Denmark. In 2011 they released the double CD Land & Sky – written while being stuck under the volcano in Iceland in 2009. The album received excellent reviews and was nominated ‘Vocal Jazz Album of the Year’ at both the Danish and the Icelandic music awards. The lyrics are written by Legardh and the music is composed by Flosason. In this concert they will present brand new music - possibly mixed with a few older pieces – and maybe even a jazz standard or two. They bring two FABULOUS musicians, Jacob Christoffersen (piano) and Jesper Thorn (bass).
