Jon Cleary represents the very best of New Orleans funk, blues and R’n’B. As a natural musical successor to The Meters, Fats Domino and Allen Thoussaint, the Grammy Award winning piano player and singer impressed the entire music scene with his amazing and hard swinging band. This Sunday he plays at Balders Plads for the 3rd time. What a treat!

Jon Cleary has had an impressive career and played with international stars like Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, John Scofield and BB King. But he never forgets the roots of New Orleans music history and is in many ways a great ambassador for the culture of “The Big Easy”.
