Award-winning Danish pianist, composer, and improvisor Søren Kjærgaard is known from his acclaimed series of recordings with his trans-Atlantic trio featuring bass legend Ben Street and drum icon Andrew Cyrille, as well as a duo collaboration with Torben Ulrich, the legendary Danish tennis player and inter-disciplinary artist. American multi-instrumentalist and composer Ned Ferm has a new album out in 2022 with Kenny Wollesen, entitled HEART IN HAND (Stunt), and received the Bent Jædig Prize in 2021. Danish bassist Jeppe Skovbakke is known for his work with John Tchicai and Peter Brötzman, and Swedish drummer Cornelia Nilsson (Tim Hagans, Seamus Blake) is the recipient of the 2022 Tivoli Jazz Prize and the 2020 Monica Zetterlund Prize.
