This afternoon you have the opportunity to pamper both your taste buds and your musical appetite with, among others, Danish anthems performed on a Hammond. Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Ole Kock Hansen, Finn Ziegler and Palle Mikkelborg have done it, and a number of Danish musicians still do it. They throw themselves over our Danish song treasure and give their own personal suggestion for a more jazzy reinterpretation. This new trio with pianist and organizer Martin Schack in the foreground, debuts this year at CPH Jazz Festival, with a tribute to all the beautiful Danish anthems. The concert is held in our new cocktail and jazz lounge which we call "The Oven". In the old days, this was where the grain was dried, but now the thick vaults help to emphasize the beautiful tones and we promise that it will be a unique music experience!
