Family Tree

Over two sunny days in our capital, we gather a selected group of sharp thinkers, musical brains and bold creators to bring even more creativity to the Sturlasgade 14 yard. We start building our family tree and to make the path as clear as possible, we go for a meeting between an artist, a musical duo and Københavns Møbelsnedkeri.

These two days are the first in a series of events bringing you both music, art and crafts.

The duo Gustaf Ljunggren and Emil de Waal will put music and sound to Søren Solkær´s projections of “Black Sun”. The concert takes place in the atelier of Københavns Møbelsnedkeri where handsome furniture are on display – both new and reissued – handmade by the homegrown cabinetmakers.

Avantgarde meets easy-listening meets ethnic and becomes cinematic melancholic soundscapes. Curiosity and transformation connect two of Denmark´s most versatile musicians in a symbiotic and constant...
