The live improvisation platform Nebula, started by Sean-Poul de Fré Gress in 2019, is driven by an active community of curious musicians and concert organizers working together to eradicate the genre barriers that exist in any musical environment and create a safe space for improvisation. Since the first Nebula concert held in Copenhagen in 2019, the project has produced more than 20 events over its short history. Nebula has been an improvisation platform for artists spanning jazz musicians and classical musicians to dancers, West African percussionists and traditional Japanese musicians hosted in venues like Danish Music Awards, theaters, cultural institutions, local gallery spaces, community-based spaces, and more. At Autopoul, Dana Alshihaby, Rezwan Taha, Varnrable, Peter Buch and Ying-Hsueh Chen will meet in a Nebula improv session for the first time.
