Stairway is a professional midsize black box venue, capacity 350, located in Vanløse and named after the song "Vanlose Stairway" by Van Morrison, written while he lived in the city back in the 70s. Presenting both national and international artists in a variety of genres ranging from garagerock, indie, japanese noise, global roots, jazz/improv, electronic music, sonic experiments and much more.
