Øksnehallen has since 1901 played a major role in what we today know as the Meatpacking District , but it was only really in 1996, after a major renovation of the hall that culture first saw the light of day in Øksnehallen . Today Øksnehallen is a part of DGI- city and one of Copenhagen's most attractive and special exhibition space for culture and business. Øksnehallen is today much more than exhibition, as it will host concerts as part of Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
This year DGI Byen will host two fantastic jazz concerts that will celebrate the Danish jazz scene. The concerts are part of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival and will be held simultaneously with the major summer exhibition in Øksnehallen, a free event for the entire city. Therefore you can look forward to a cultural experience beyond the ordinary.
