He teaches at Musikhögskolan in Malmö and is active with projects such as "Morph Ensemble", Rhododendron String Band" and "Diers/Müntzing".
Håkon Berre (NO), living in Copenhagen, is an extremely active improviser in a wide range of projects. His inventive and energetic drumming can be experienced on over 43 CDs and LPs - many of them released on Barefoot Records, where he is a co-founder. Active with orchestras such as "Ytterlandet", "Liudas Mockunas Trio" and "Ericson/Nästesjö/Berre".
Together, this trio creates otherworldly soundscapes beyond genre and imagination. From a breathless flock of birds to schizophrenic patterns and doomsday rhythms. Each member's personal expression contributes to the whole and creates a synergistic wall of sound.
The trio released their critically acclaimed debut album "Open Up" on the ILK label in November 2018, and the press wrote: “Teeth sounds like nothing you have heard before. You may imagine an alien organism that sends urgent messages to the desperate earthlings, teasing and testing the limited attention span of Earth’s human beings and their capabilities to decipher eccentric auditive textures.”
