Violinist Caroline Bugala spontaneously appeared at one of Kjeld Lauritsen's jam sessions at La Fontaine a few years ago and wowed the audience with her fantastic playing. Before she had played her 2 numbers, she was engaged for a concert on the spot and she has since been a dear guest at the club.

Her playing is rooted in years of studying classical violin, but when she met jazz a great love was born. Her eminent technique and deep roots in swinging gypsy jazz form the starting point for this concert which reaches far and wide with detours to Blues, Latin American music and maybe a little tango too.

Then it doesn't get any worse that Kjeld Lauritsen has his big organ with him and that the drummer Espen Laub on drums has developed into one of the country's very best behind the pots.
