Halvcirkel debuts both as composers and as artists on the British record label
130701/Fatcat Records, which houses several renowned artists on the postclassical
scene (Shida Shahabi, Clarice Jensen, etc.)
Through drones, clear landscapes and simple melodies that stand firm or fall
apart, Halvcirkel has tried to capture the small and the big in being human. A
feeling that at the same time that everything in the world seems to be in total
chaos, there is always a deep and calming energy to draw strength from. The

Since 2015 Halvcirkel has moved freely on the Danish music scene in
collaboration with other composers and musicians; Terry Riley, Jonathan
Bremer, Anders Lauge Meldgaard, Signe Lykke, Craig Leon, Madame Nielsen,
Girls in Airports, Sleep Party People.
Cisser Mæhl is joining as support and DJ Henri Barbara takes care of the afterparty.
Cisser Mæhl is a danish composer and singer, currently living and working in Oslo. She works with music production in multidisciplinary collaborations and in 2023 she releasing her debut album Innemuseum at the Berlin record label Sonic Pieces. Cisser Mæhl has a master degree in film composer from the Danish National Academy of Music (SDMK) and she composes music for films, video games, performing arts and literature.
This evening she’ll play music from her debutalbum Innemusem. This is undeniably a very personal record that sounds like the musical embodiment of Cisser herself. She sings in Danish in a close-miked way like she’s sitting right next to you, all while gentle rhythms and soft strings together create a sort of bright, minimal chamber music with hints of pop sensibility. It almost feels like a Scandinavian reflection of Colleen’s work in her more quiet, vocal periods. A music box of weightless compositions for the conscious mind....
