Frankly Female is a singer and composer who has crafted a beautiful and magnificent sound, a distinct sound of Nordic Noir Jazz. The album "Cinematic Songs for the People" received great reviews from GAFFA, Kristeligt Dagblad, and Jyllands-Posten (JP), with the latter placing it among the 10 best Danish releases that year. The songs are catchy, performed by one of the most heartbreaking and sensual voices in Denmark, officially known as Pernille Gunvad, often compared to Kate Bush and Lana Del Rey. Canadians discovered her talent back in 2005, along with the Danish audience and press. Her debut album "Fire" impressed several reviewers in Denmark and Canada.
