The trio consists of some of the most prominent and influential musicians in Danish jazz, who in this ensemble exclusively play compositions by the fantastic visionary American pianist and composer Thelonious Monk, one of the greatest giants in the history of jazz. Mono attacks Monk's music with love, respectful curiosity, and gentle anarchy, driven by a desire to unfold the music in the present with threads to the past.
