Anders "AC" Christensen has been an active bassist on the Danish jazz scene since the early 1990s. For many years, he collaborated with the brothers Nikolai Hess and Mikkel Hess, forming the trio Spacelab. He has made his mark on both the Danish and international jazz scenes in the Jakob Bro Trio. Additionally, he has played with the Polish trumpeter Tomasz Stanko in his quintet. He has participated in numerous recordings and has performed concerts with, among others, Tom Harrell, Joe Lovano, and Lee Konitz. In November 2009, he released his debut album "Dear Someone" in New York and Copenhagen in a piano trio format with Aaron Parks and Paul Motian.
