Unique chance to experience the legendary jazz/funk band, Morten Schantz and his Segment team, who play a rare "Reunion concert" during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival at Kayak Bar.
The band released two records back in the mid-00s that ooze jazz funk from the happy 70s with inspiration from names like Herbie Hancock, Weather Report and Chick Corea. Bandleader and pianist Morten Schantz has in the past almost 20 years left his own mark on the international jazz scene with supergroups such as JazzKamikaze, Morten Schantz Godspeed, RKDIA and not least with his sublime trio. We have succeeded in bringing together the entire original team, all of whom are significant profiles on the Danish music scene.
