"Hymner & Ukrudt" is the quartet that pays tribute to the legendary collaboration between writer/composer Benny Andersen and troubadour Povl Dissing - a collaboration that can probably be described as something close to the basic ingredient in Danish music and poetry. "Hymners & Weeds" plays the well-known and beloved repertoire and the audience will experience evergreens such as "Svantes Lykkelige Dag", "Barndommens Land", "Evening tour with Rosalina", "Hymne til natten", "Tidseltango" and several "Benny classics" from the huge back catalog in new, fresh interpretations, but of course with respect for the original style and sound.
