The 22-year-old British saxophone phenomenon EMMA RAWICZ has really broken through in the UK, and since she released her last album on the major German label ACT in the summer of 2023, she has been touring constantly in the UK or another European country. The 3 established jazz musicians Morten Hæsum, Morten Haxholm & Søren Møller (the Viridian Trio) invited the young mega talent to Denmark with 6 concerts in spring 2023, several concerts were sold out - and all with a wonderful and festive atmosphere. We have had the chance to invite Emma again in the spring of 2024, for another expressive and charming jazz party. The repertoire will be predominantly compositions by Emma Rawicz, Morten Haxholm and selected jazz standards, a wonderful mix of Afro-Cuban inspired rhythms, rock-hard swinging modern jazz, curly melodies and funky grooves....
