With a Nordic interpretation of the American folk tradition, Anna Scharling writes about the absurdities of everyday life and the yearnings of the soul. In April 2024 she released her first Danish-spoken album “Longdistance Runner” recorded live with a band of 7 musicians. At this concert Scharling will be performing in a smaller setting together with guitarist Rasmus Oppenhagen Krogh, making the fateful stories and melodies stand out before the listeners.
