Amalie Dahl is a Danish saxophone player, currently based in Oslo (Norway). She is known for her distinct sound and strong integrity both as an improviser and a composer. She ended her education at the Jazzdepartment at NTNU in Trondheim in 2021. The year after she released her first album as a bandleader, “Dafnie”, on Sonic Transmissions Records, and her first solo record came out in September 2023. She is also playing with several other projects like SUPERSPREDER, Dahl/Dalen/Søvik, Treen Trondheim Jazz Orchestra, and have worked with musicians such as Paal Nilsen-Love, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Signe Emmeluth among others.

With her quintet Amalie Dahl's Dafnie they just released their 2nd album, 'Står op med solen' on Sonic Transmissions Records and Aguirre, and celebrated it with a Northeuropean releasetour.
