This trio celebrates summer with a quirky approach to standards.
The energy and creativity will be turned up completely when the Rudi Mahall, Richard Andersson & Kasper Tom trio hits the Danish jazz festivals this summer.
Rudi Mahall is a legendary bass clarinetist from Berlin, where since the 1990s he has been known for his humorous style on stage. With his original approach, he takes his unique style with him everywhere in his musical work. Among other things, he once recorded all of Thelonious Monk's compositions, which resulted in almost 240 minutes of music on 3 CDs. Rudi Mahall is a prominent figure on the European free jazz scene, but this time he has thrown himself beyond the standards with this trio.
