Mais Uma plays delicious Brazilian-inspired samba jazz with singer Mai Seidelin in front.
With support from some of Denmark's best jazz musicians and guest soloist Mathias Heise, the music will be both dance-friendly and dramatic, and there is a guarantee of enjoying the music of Brazil's great artists such as Jobim and Elis Regina, in a beautiful mix with the orchestra's own songs. Mais Uma has toured most of the world from Rio de Janeiro to Shanghai and often performs with soloists from e.g. Brazil.
"Mais Uma has the courage - thank God - to play a wide selection of Brazil's best composers, and even though I'm a big guy, I can't sit still at all" said the now deceased Fatman. "Terrifying, entertaining, illuminating" was what the Danish Music Award's jury said about Mais Uma's floating concert on the water in Copenhagen, which won an award in 2020 for presenting the most innovative concert format.
