“Ciudad Sonora” - David Contreras Trío – featuring Ole Reimer (MX/DK)

This trio emerges from Mexico City's lively experimental jazz and free improvisation scene. It was born from searching for its voice and the need for musical exploration and expression. This comes through original compositions halfway between traditional jazz, contemporary sounds, and free improvisation. In 2021, they released their first full-length album, “Mundano”. In this concert, the Danish trumpet player Ole Reimer will join them in musical exploration.
David Contreras Trío has played numerous stages in Mexico and Europe, but this is their first visit to Denmark.
