Bettina Fyen-Andersen
Bettina Fyen-Andersen is originally a seasoned rock singer with a record contract in the early 90s and with jobs at venues such as Montmartre and the Roskilde festival. But the love of jazz overcomes and then she sings in many different constellations over the years
Bettina grew up with jazz from childhood, when the family had a venue at Ellinge heather and here she met almost all the seasoned jazz musicians found in Denmark.
Here she found the inspiration for her further career in music and in her work on radio jazz in the early 90s. In this ensemble, jazz and bossa are played with great love for the great queens of jazz, such as Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and not least the bossa nova music king Joáo Gilberto and Stan Getz.
Bettina Fyen-Andersen hand-picks the songs for the occasion and tells a story to the listener with a warm and soft jazz feeling and not least a universe of presence and joy of playing.
