Katrine Ring loves jazz. That's how it started in 1989; bossa and souljazz, latinjazz, brazil, now jazz and all sorts of shades of funky, groovy jazz. She quickly became a member of the DJ-jazz collective Yo! Bebob at Cph Jazzhouse. Since then, she has filled dance floors at her own clubs such as Vibezone at Rust and Dexter Jazzdance in Odense. As a resident DJ, it's places like Montmartre (in Nørregade), Cph. Jazzhouse and The Standard. She has played jazz at Roskilde Festival, the jazz festivals in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Tversted and for the Queen in Greece and for Swedes in Sweden and visited the Jazz Club on P8 several times. She has played for afterparties for Mezzoforte and the Yellow Jackets, and she has shared the stage with people like Tito Puente, Charanga Habanera, Curtis Stigers, David Sanborn, Alex Wilson and many, many others. Has released Sol Over Bryggen with the Latin jazz group Chili.
