Nyhavn is one of the oldest places for jazz in Copenhagen. Since the early 50's, Nyhavn's restaurants and bars have invited the audience to good Danish jazz, and it was here you could hear artists like Papa Bue, Leif Sylvester Petersen, Nulle, Hugo Rasmussen, Freddy Fræk  amongst others. Today Nyhavn is pays tribute to both tradition and renewal. On the stage at Mindeankeret, a series of concerts with both older and younger orchestras and soloists in traditional, second-line, funk and blues. It is outdoor and free for all.
